KART brings memories back to life at

Heron Point Retirement Community.

Recently, participants and volunteers from KART (Kent Association of Riding Therapy) had the pleasure of visiting residents at Heron Point of Chestertown for a special afternoon of sharing stories, smiles, and memories. The visit provided a wonderful opportunity for generations to connect through conversations about horses, farm life, and cherished experiences from years gone by. Residents enjoyed hearing about KART's therapeutic riding program and the positive impact it has on children and adults with disabilities throughout our community. Laughter, friendship, and meaningful connections filled the air, reminding everyone of the power of companionship and shared experiences. KART is grateful for the warm welcome from the Heron Point community and looks forward to future visits together.

Kart was proud to award $7,500 in scholarships to outstanding students whose hard work, perseverance, and dedication continue to inspire our community. Supporting the next generation is an important part of our mission. We are honored to celebrate these achievements and wish each recipient continued success in their future endeavors.
